Biography

Dawn Foxall and Diana Sharp met at the Birmingham Conservatoire in '96 and, despite spending far too much time in the coffee bar, graduated with distinction! Their solo careers have spanned opera, orchestral concerts, shows and jazz concerts performing at such venues as the South Bank Centre, Royal Albert Hall and Wigmore Hall (although, none compare to the vineyard in Italy).

Dawn has recorded for BBC documentaries such as 'Rome' and sung on Sony's 'Chillout' CDs. Diana was a finalist in national and international competitions and toured nationally in opera roles (most notably performing with three animated characters, not that they couldn't get anyone real to perform with her).

As Sirens they performed with pianist Janine Smith and Bolshoi/ Royal Ballet star Irek Mukhammedov at Birmingham's Symphony Hall; Festivals in Italy and Sweden; made recordings with Ty Unwin and a DVD with BBC documentary director Jeremy Turner.

Musical comedy performances with comedy duo 'Totally Naff Tarts' led to them writing the critically acclaimed musical comedy 'Are We There Yet' with pianist David Barnard. The show was both nominated for 'Best Music' and received critical acclaim at Buxton Fringe Festival 08 and it's London premier in November 08 at the Rosemary Branch Theatre. It was highly recommended again at Buxton Fringe 09 and goes to Edinburgh Fringe August 09. View upcoming tour dates.
